What properties must a stove tube meet

The most important task of a chimney pipe is to discharge the smoke and gases from the stove to the outside. To be able to realise this properly there are several requirements set to which a stovepipe must comply. Thus the pipe must always be resistant against high heat and fire, as well as against frost. In addition, a stove pipe must promote the removal of harmful substances and must be designed to be gas-tight. To keep this possible, regular polishing of the stovepipe is recommended. It is therefore the intention that a stove pipe is provided with this. To be able to guarantee the possession of all these properties, the heater pipe must also be provided with a CE-marking and must comply with the proposed European legislation. In addition, it is important that a qualitative stovepipe is also correctly mounted. Therefore count on Opsinox. We only offer approved products, supplemented with professional installation advice.
